Several years ago I tried to pour a very expensive automotive functional fluid into the fuel filler neck of my Jeep. It was one of those snake oil type fuel treatments that promise you the world. "Get like new performance if you use our product with every fill-up forever". Unfortunately, I clumsily spilled that magical mineral oil on the paint of my Jeep. While it did no permanent damage, it took way too much time to completely clean-up. I spilled about half the bottle trying to bridge the gap between tipping the bottle and successfully pouring the fluid it into the fuel filler. A funnel could not have helped because of the awkward angle and, as many will attest to, a funnel is an ungainly tool and too bulky to carry around.
So I began to think about the things I spill on a daily basis.
This experience led me to invent the iPour®. I knew it had to be inexpensive, compact, flexible, have memory, and be available to the masses.
The product needed to bridge the gap between bottle and receiver, as well as fit into tight spaces. We approached these constraints with three goals in mind: Firstly, to make the consumers life a little easier and more efficient. Second, it needs to effectively reduce harmful and expensive waste. Finally, it had to be able to make money. iPour is the elegant solution to these constraints.

The patented iPour® Spout & Overcap
is an innovative tool for dispensing and storing fluids in a safe and efficient manner with just two components: an extendable, flexible iPour Spout that is screwed onto a quart (or smaller) 28mm necked bottle to guide liquid from its container to a desired location and an Overcap that fits over the iPour Spout to seal excess product in the bottle after use without removing the Spout.
